On Sept. 9, 2020, BD (Becton, Dickinson) announced the results of a new research study that demonstrated performance of the BD Veritorﾙ System for Rapid Detection of SARS-CoV-2 Assay was equivalent to that of the Quidel Sofia 2 SARS Antigen Fluorescent Immunoassay (AFI).
