On Mar. 17, 2020, BioReference Laboratories, an OPKO Health company, announced a collaboration with the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation (NYC Health + Hospitals) to provide coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing.

NYC Health + Hospitals is the largest public health care system in the nation serving more than a million New Yorkers annually in more than 70 patient care locations across the city’s five boroughs.
