On Sept. 10, 2026, philanthropist and entrepreneur Tom Golisano announced a $225 million investment in six children’s hospitals, which will now join the nationwide network of the Golisano Children’s Alliance. The addition of these hospitals brings the total number of Golisano Children’s Alliance hospitals to 21 across the United States, past the halfway mark toward Mr. Golisano’s goal of 40. It also marks a significant westward expansion of the Alliance’s national footprint. 

The six hospitals and their investments are:

• Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis will receive $35 million
• Dartmouth Health Children’s in Lebanon, N.H., will receive $30 million
• Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Wesley Chapel, Fla., will receive $40 million
• Renown Health in Reno, Nev., will receive $40 million
• Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colo., will receive $40 million
• Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., will receive $40 million

The Alliance is a growing national network of children’s hospitals united by a shared commitment to improving pediatric healthcare delivery, advancing innovation, and ensuring children and families have access to high-quality, compassionate care close to home.

Each hospital will become an active member of the Golisano Children’s Alliance and will prominently recognize the Golisano name. Children’s Minnesota will name its Minneapolis campus “Children’s Minnesota Golisano Campus”; Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, formerly known as CHaD, will become “Golisano Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Health”; Johns Hopkins All Children’s builds its first campus outside of St. Petersburg and will name the new children’s facility “Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Golisano Children’s Medical Center at Wesley Chapel”; Renown Health will name its new children’s hospital “Golisano Children’s Hospital at Renown Health”; Children’s Hospital Colorado will name its facility “Golisano Children’s Hospital, Colorado Springs”; and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt will rename its Pediatric Heart Institute as the “Golisano Pediatric Heart Institute.”

The Golisano Children’s Alliance was founded in October 2025 when Mr. Golisano significantly expanded his support of children’s hospitals with a transformative philanthropic commitment totaling $403 million. An additional $125 million investment followed in April 2026. With the addition of these six new hospitals, Mr. Golisano’s personal philanthropic investment in the Golisano Children’s Alliance has now reached $753 million.

Mr. Golisano continues to actively build relationships with children’s hospitals across the country, with a long-term goal of expanding the Golisano Children’s Alliance to 40 hospitals over the next several years. More hospital partnerships are expected to be announced in the coming year.
