On Mar. 3, 1887, the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (NSU), located in Raleigh, was founded as a land-grant college.
Today, NSU is ranked in the top 1% of universities on the planet — a pre-eminent research enterprise that excels in science, technology, engineering, math, design, the humanities and social sciences, textiles and veterinary medicine.
NSU offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and more than 200 master’s and doctoral programs.
