,

On Aug. 25, 2026, Haisco Pharmaceutical Group announced on that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with Sentivera, a new U.S. venture founded by Population Health Partners and ARCH Venture Partners, to develop, manufacture and commercialize one of its pre-clinical innovative drugs globally, excluding Greater China.

The deal is valued at more than $1.5 billion, including an upfront payment and equity consideration of $75.89 million, up to $1.46 billion in milestone payments, and tiered royalties ranging from mid-single digits to low double digits on post-launch net sales.

The asset, a core immunology candidate of Haisco, inhibits the development and progression of type 2 inflammatory diseases. It has received China IND approval this month, with pre-clinical studies showing strong anti-inflammatory activity and a favorable safety profile.

Haisco said the collaboration, which adopts a Newco partnership structure, aligns with its international strategy and is expected to generate sustainable cash flow and long-term returns. The company added that the deal underscores strong market confidence in China-originated innovative drugs and marks an upgrade in its global expansion strategy.

On the Shenzhen stock exchange, shares of Haisco closed Tuesday’s trading up 0.25 percent at 64.32 Chinese yuan, before the announcement.
