University of Vermont and Tufts University researchers build the first living robots
On Jan. 13, 2020, a team of scientists from the University of Vermont and Tufts University annouced they had repurposed living cellsラscraped from frog embryosラand assembled them into entirely new life-forms.
The new creatures were designed on a supercomputer at UVMラand then assembled and tested by biologists at Tufts University. The results of the new research were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
