The Calgary Cancer Centre broke ground
On Nov. 3, 2017, construction started on the Calgary Cancer Centre located at the northeast corner of the Foothills Medical. In 2015. The provincial budget earmarked $830 million for the project.
The Calgary Cancer Centre, now the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, replaced the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and provided more inpatient beds and additional patient services.
