On May 18, 2018 the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute announced an expension to its Lawrence and Idell Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center in Farmington Hills into a full-service, outpatient oncology center by 2021. The Lawrence and Idell Weisberg Cancer Treatment Center opened in 2001.
