HHS released US National Vaccine Plan, covers activities, goals, and priorities for 2010-2015
On Feb. 15, 2011, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released the U.S. National Vaccine Plan (NVP) that covered activities, goals, and priorities for 2010-2015.
The NVP provides a comprehensive strategy to enhance all aspects of the vaccine ecosystem, including research and development (R&D), supply, financing, distribution, safety, informed decision-making by consumers and health care providers, vaccine-preventable disease (VPD) surveillance, vaccine effectiveness and coverage monitoring, and global coordination.
