Effect of hydroxychloroquine on clinical status at 14 days in hospitalized patients with COVID-19
On Nov. 9, 2020, a study published in JAMA reported the effect of hydroxychloroquine on clinical status at 14 days in randomized trial of adults hospitalized patients with COVID-19.
In this randomized clinical trial that included 479 hospitalized adults with respiratory symptoms from COVID-19, the distribution of the day 14 clinical status score was not significantly different for patients randomized to receive hydroxychloroquine compared with placebo.
