On Aug. 24, 2018, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published Immunization Practices Advisory Committee’s (ACIP) 2018-19 influenza vaccination recommendations.

Routine annual influenza vaccination were recommended for all persons aged ≥6 months who do not have contraindications. A licensed, recommended, and age-appropriate vaccine should be used.
