University of Missouri study found Monkeypox mutations caused virus to spread rapidly, evade drugs and vaccines
On Nov. 9, 2022, researchers at the University of Missouri announced they had identified the highly prevalent, specific mutations that are causing the omicron variantメs high rate of infection.
Monkeypox has infected more than 77,000 people in more than 100 countries worldwide, and ラ similar to COVID-19 ラ mutations have enabled the virus to grow stronger and smarter, evading antiviral drugs and vaccines in its mission to infect more people.
