On Sept. 15, 2022, the U.S. Department of Agricultureﾒs Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service confirmed the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in a non-commercial backyard flock (poultry) in Obion County, Tennessee.
