On Jan. 27, 2021, researchers at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and Massachusetts General Hospitalﾒs Center for Genomic Medicine announced a clinical test that includes polygenic scores to estimate a patientﾒs risk for one of the worldﾒs leading causes of death ﾗ heart attack. Mass Generalﾒs new Preventive Genomics Clinic,began offering the test to patients in December, 2020.
