BioNTech confirmed ECメs proposal to purchase additional doses of vaccine
On Jan. 8, 2021, BioNTech announced that it was in talks with the European Commission (EC) about an amendment to our existing supply agreement for COMIRNATYᆴ, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.
The amendment being discussed was for a firm order for an additional 200 million doses of COMIRNATYᆴ to be supplied to the 27 EU member states, with an option for the EC to request an additional 100 million doses. This amendment added to the 300 million doses already been committed to the EU through 2021 under the original supply agreement.
