On Jul. 27, 2020, Albert Einstein College of Medicine announced that it had received a $9.5 million, five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to support the Einstein-Mount Sinai Diabetes Research Center. The multi-institutional center is a leader in basic, translational, clinical, and community-based research and training in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, and other metabolic disorders.
