On Mar. 9, 2020, Winship Cancer Institute’s multiple myeloma team was awarded a $5 million grant from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). In partnership with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center researchers, the grant was awarded to focus on improving adoptive cell therapies for patients with multiple myeloma and developing the next generation of promising myeloma therapies for patients.
