On Jul. 9, 2019, the Masonic Cancer Center announced that researcher Ingunn Stromnes, PhD was awarded with a Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) Grant for her work in immunotherapy.

This marked the 17th year of PanCAN’s donor-funded grants program. To date, the program had awarded 173 grants to 170 scientists at 64 institutions for a total of $47.2 million.
