In 1991, the world’s first superconducting cyclotron built to treat cancer was installed at the Gershenson Radiation Oncology Center at Michigan State University.
Now known as the Karmanos Cancer Institute – Gershenson Radiation Oncology Center, physicians provide care to patients with primary and specialty care needs.
