On Nov. 11, 1990, Stormie Jones, the world’s first recipient of a successful simultaneous heart and liver organ transplant at the age of six, died at the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received the transplant on Feb 14, 1984.
