On Nov. 6, 1924, the dream of Dr. Orlando P. Christian, the Society’s first superintendent, and Arkansas Childrenﾒs Home Society became a reality when the hospital building was completed, representing the first construction at the present site of Arkansas Childrenﾒs Hospital.
