Hungarian Kark Ereky coined the term biotechnology
In 1917, Hungarian Kark Ereky first coined the word “biotechnology” and in 1919 published “Biotechnology of Meat, Fat and Milk Production in an Agricultural Large-Scale Farm” where he described a technology based on converting raw materials into a more useful product.
