On Nov. 12, 2020, Wren Laboratories announced that it had been granted an emergency use authorization by the FDA for its new proprietary saliva-based PCR laboratory diagnostic test to determine infection from COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2).

The easy-to-use collection device enables samples to be collected at home or office without medical supervision and easily transported at room temperature as the sample is automatically stabilized.
