University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center received NCI designation
In 2008, the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCC) received NCI designation, a distinction that placed it in the top tier of cancer centers throughout the country.
The mission of the UMGCC is to conduct innovative basic and clinical research that will impact the understanding and treatment of cancer around the world and to provide state-of-the-art clinical care to cancer patients in Maryland and beyond.
