On Dec. 2, 2019, the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture announced it had received a grant by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service to study cattle genomics. The researchers planned to evaluate Tennessee cow-calf producer preferences for bull genomics and physical traits.
