The National Sarcoidosis Society was established in Chicago
In 1995, the National Sarcoidosis Society was founded because of a lack of educational awareness information on this disease and the following year was sanctioned by Glenda Fulton, a Sarcoidosis survivor.
The mission of NSS is to support, empower and advocate for those inflicted with this disease while strengthening physician/patient relationships and fighting for services, research, and ultimately a cure for Sarcoidosis.
