On Nov. 25, 1970, the national panel of consultants submitted to the Senate committee a report entitled “National Program for the Conquest of Cancer.” The Report was requested in April, 1970 at the request of Senator Ralph W. Yarborough, chairman of the Committee on Labor and Public Welfare.
