In 1999, the Del E. Webb Center for Neuroscience and Aging, which focuses on diseases such as stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, was established at the Burnham Institute, solidifying the expansion of research.

Today, The Burnham Institute continues to evolve as a premier basic science institute, embodying the vision of its co-founders and contributing to the health and well being of the world.
