On Sept. 27, 2018, St.ﾠJude Children’s Hospital and the World Health Organization announced a five-year collaboration to transform cancer care by curing at least 60% of children with six of the most common kinds of cancer worldwide by 2030.

St.ﾠJude Children’s Research Hospital was founded in 1962 by actor Danny Thomas. Each year, approximately 300,000 children and adolescents are expected to be diagnosed with cancer.
