Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis announced finding diagnostic marker for deadly brain disease

On Nov. 24, 2022, researchers Kanta Horie and Chihiro Sato at the Tracy Family SILQ Center at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis announced that their team had discovered a biomarker for a rare, deadly brain disease known as corticobasal degeneration (CBD). The biomarker could accelerate efforts to develop treatments for CBD.
