Planning began for the OHSU Center for Women’s Health
In 1997, planning began for Oregon Health & Science University’s (OHSU) Center for Women’s Health, and an interim director was named.
The center was intended to offer a place where women’s concerns can be addressed in a comprehensive, comforting and supportive manner. The center will use a collaborative model that encourages women to actively participate in their care.
The OHSU Center for Women’s Health strives to achieve the highest standard of care for women, transgender and gender diverse individuals across the lifespan, and provide care in an inclusive space to all who seek it, regardless of gender expression or identity.
