On Feb. 6, 2019, Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Health was designated a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Perlmutter Cancer Center received an overall “outstanding” rating on the competitive renewal of its Cancer Center Support Grant, which will provide nearly $20 million in new funding for research programs, infrastructure and technology, .a 51 percent increase from its last NCI grant.
