OHSU School of Medicine’s Casey Eye Institute received $2.6 million to study glaucoma

On Jan. 29, 2004, researchers at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Medicine’s Casey Eye Institute announced receipt of a five-year $2.6 million dollar grant from the National Eye Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, to study the genetic causes of glaucoma in conjunction with the University of Ioannina in rural northwestern Greece.
