On Jan. 23, 2017, Jeffrey and Patricia Cole donated $2.25 million to Cleveland Clinic Florida Tomsich Health and Medical Center located in CityPlace Tower. The Coles had been going to the Cleveland Clinic Florida for care since it opened in 2007.

In 1999, Jeffrey and his company, Cole National Corporation, which was based in Cleveland for 60 years, contributed the lead gift that established the Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
