On Dec. 21, 1992, Immunex announced a merger agreement with American Cyanamid Company’s Lederle Oncology business. In Nov. 1994, American Home Products acquired all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Cyanamid.  Under the agreement, Cyanamid paid Immunex $350 million in cash.
