On Aug. 24, 2018, Emory Universityﾒs Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center was renamed the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, in honor of the Goizueta Foundation’s support for disease research.

In May 2018, The Goizueta Foundation made a $25 million grant to the ADRC dedicated to the development of a Clinical Trials Unit and to support the Neuroinflammation Discovery Unit.
