Dr. Oscar Craven assumed charge of Cincinnati’s Department of Health
On Oct. 15, 1918, after Health Officer Peters fell ill with influenza, Dr. Oscar Craven assumed charge of Cincinnati’s Department of Health and implemented new policies to stem the epidemic.
