Antibodies elicited by COVID-19 vaccination effective against delta variant
On Aug. 17, 2021, researchers reported the delta variant of the virus that causes COVID-19 was not particularly good at evading the antibodies generated by vaccination, according to a study at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The findings were published in the journal Immunity, helped explain why vaccinated people have largely escaped the worst of the delta surge.
