On Nov. 2, 2020, ACON Laboratories announced the launch of its Flowflexﾙ SARS-COV-2 Antigen Rapid Test. The Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swab specimens.

ACONﾒs test is intended to help in the diagnosis of individuals who were suspected of active COVID-19 disease by their healthcare provider within the first seven (7) days of the onset of symptoms.
