In 2007, West Campus, located on 136 acres 7 miles west of downtown New Haven, was acquired. West Campus has belonged since it was purchased from Bayer Pharmaceuticals for $109 million. At the time, former Yale President Richard Levin crowned it “Yale’s Louisiana Purchase.”
The facility included over 400,000 square feet of research/lab space and includes office and warehouse space. The West Campus provides opportunities to enhance the Universityメs medical and scientific research and other academic programs.
