WHO launched new roadmap on breast cancer

On Feb. 3, 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) released an updated Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) Framework providing a roadmap to attain the targets to save 2.5 million lives from breast cancer by 2040.
The GBCI, established in 2021, brings together stakeholders from around the world and across sectors with the shared goal of reducing breast cancer by 2.5% per year, which over a 20-year period would save 2.5 million lives.
