USDA research showed higher carbohydrate and balanced fat intake can prevent certain diseases
On Sept. 15, 2020, a team of scientists in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agriculture Research Service (ARS) recently found that consuming a high level of carbohydrates regulates a gene in the body that can reduce your risk of obesity, hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, and other metabolic diseases.
The research was highlighted in the September issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
