University of Oxford team published blueprint for making millions of doses of a new vaccine within 100-days
On Dec. 22, 2021, the University of Oxfordメs vaccine manufacturing research team published a pre-print paper demonstrating the feasibility of a step change in the speed and volume of production of adenovirus-vectored vaccines against new virus variants or other future pandemics.
The researchers believe their work could enable Oxfordメs ChAdOx vaccines to hit the モmoonshotヤ objective set earlier this year by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), which aims to help compress vaccine development timelines to 100 days from pathogen identification to mass production, potentially including distribution of millions of doses from manufacturing sites around the world.
