On Jun. 25, 2020, the University of Alberta (U of A) announced a study that will analyze thousands of blood samples to determine whether having COVID-19 antibodies confers long-term immunity. The project was one of 13 U of A research projects sharing $11.3 million in new federal funding for a rapid response to the pandemic.
