In 2004, Touro University Nevada (TUN), located in Henderson, was founded as a private, non-profit institution of higher and professional education. TUN is becoming recognized as an outstanding health science center serving the greater Las Vegas area.

The campus consists of two colleges, the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Health and Human Services. Touro University Nevada is a branch campus of Touro University California.
