In 2007, The St. Jude LIFE study on the long-term effects of cancer and its treatment began. This initiative was one of the most ambitious follow-up projects ever conceived.  To-date, more than 4,300 participants and 580 controls had undergone comprehensive health evaluations through St. Jude LIFE.

The unique findings from St. Jude LIFE were helping our survivors learn more about their individual health needs, and providing our researchers with novel insights into the late effects of cancer therapy. St.ﾠJude Children’s Research Hospital was founded in 1962 by actor Danny Thomas.
