The Schnitzer Investment Corporation donated nearly 20 acres of riverfront property in South Waterfront to OHSU
On Jun. 16, 2004, Portland’s Schnitzer Investment Corp. donated nearly 20 acres of land at the South Willamette River Waterfront to Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).
The property — valued in excess of $35 million — was the largest in OHSU’s 117-year history, and became known as the OHSU Schnitzer Campus.
Schnitzer Properties is a privately-owned real estate company that acquires, manages and develops properties for its own portfolio. The company was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon.
