In 1991, the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey was established at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and is a matrix/consortium with Princeton University and is New Jersey’s only the National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
