The Priestley Medal was awarded to Max Tishler
In 1970, the American Chemical Society awarded the Priestley Medal to Max Tishler ‘for his numerous contributions to chemistry,” the Society’s most prestigious award.
For 32 years he has been a member of one of the most prestigious drug research organizations in the world, the Merck Sharp & Dohme Research Laboratories division of Merck & Co., and for 12 years he has headed it.
