The Priestley Medal was awarded to Gabor A Somorjai
On Jun. 11, 2007, the Priestley Medal was awarded to Gabor A. Somorjai by the American Chemical Society “to recognize distinguished services to chemistry.”
Dr. Somorjai trained and mentored more than 300 Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows, published more than 1,000 peer-reviewed journal articles, and has written three textbooks.
